Don't look at the size of the capsule. Look at the milligrams of EPA and DHA.
That's where it all matters.
Why the brain needs omega-3
The brain is composed of approximately 60% fat by dry weight. A large proportion is DHA, present in neuronal membranes and synapses.

The problem with conventional omega-3s
Most supplements display the total oil dose, not the actual EPA and DHA dose. A 1000 mg fish oil capsule may only contain 180 mg of EPA and 120 mg of DHA.
For a more ambitious brain approach, it's relevant to look beyond the minimum and compare the actual dose of DHA and EPA per serving. Daily Brain Nutrition provides 800 mg of EPA and 600 mg of DHA per serving, more than double the EFSA threshold recognized for normal brain function.
The chemical form: the other decisive criterion
| Form | Bioavailability | To know |
| Ethyl ester (EE) | ⚠️ Lower | Most common, cheapest form |
| Triglyceride (TG) | ✅ Better | Natural form in fish. Choice for Daily Brain Nutrition. |

What differentiates Daily Brain Nutrition
A good omega-3 is not judged by the size of the capsule. It is judged by four criteria: the actual dose of EPA and DHA, the chemical form, the purity of the oil, and its freshness.
800 mg of EPA and 600 mg of DHA per serving. More than double the EFSA threshold recognized for the maintenance of normal brain function (250 mg of DHA per day).
Natural form of omega-3s in fish. Better absorbed than the ethyl ester form, more common in standard supplements.
Seamega TG-XO Ultra EPAX. A recognized player for the quality, purification, and stability of concentrated omega-3 oils.
An oxidized omega-3 oil loses quality and may be less well tolerated. The TOTOX index measures the overall oxidation level of an oil by combining several markers. The GOED standard sets a maximum TOTOX of 26. The EPAX TG-XO Ultra oil used in Daily Brain Nutrition has a TOTOX below 5, well below this limit. This is one of the concrete criteria that differentiates the formulation requirement.
Don't just look at "fish oil 1000 mg." Look at the actual dose of EPA and DHA, the triglyceride form, the purity of the purification, and the freshness of the oil.
