1. Purpose

These General Terms of Use govern the access and use of the MySynapz mobile application, available on iOS and Android, published by MySynapz SAS. By downloading, creating an account or using the application, the user accepts these GTCU. If they do not accept them, they must not use the application.

2. Description of the application

The MySynapz application is a daily cognitive monitoring tool designed to support users in observing and understanding their mental functioning over time. The application can notably offer an initial cognitive assessment, daily monitoring via check-ins, a free cognitive journal, educational content, personalized support, progress reports and functionalities based on artificial intelligence technologies. The MySynapz application is not a medical device. It does not provide medical diagnosis, does not replace the advice of a health professional and does not constitute therapeutic care.

3. Access to the application

The application is reserved for adults aged eighteen or over. By creating an account, the user declares to be of legal age. Access to the application may be included with the purchase of a MySynapz product, offered by invitation, or made available under the conditions indicated by MySynapz. MySynapz reserves the right to change the conditions of access to the application. Use of the application requires an internet connection and a compatible device.

4. Account creation and security

To use the application, the user must create a personal account with a valid email address and a password or any other authentication method offered. The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials and any activity carried out from their account. In case of unauthorized access or suspicion of compromise, they must contact MySynapz immediately at contact@mysynapz.com.

5. Artificial intelligence and automated support

The application may integrate functionalities based on artificial intelligence technologies, notably via specialized technical service providers. Certain information entered by the user may be processed to generate personalized responses, summaries or adapted monitoring. The content generated or offered in the application is provided for informational and supportive purposes. It does not constitute medical, psychological, individualized nutritional or therapeutic advice. The user acknowledges that automated responses may have limitations, approximations or errors. In case of medical or psychological difficulty, significant disorder, persistent symptom or emergency situation, the user must consult a qualified health professional or contact the competent emergency services. 6. Personal data

The processing of personal data collected within the framework of the application is described in the MySynapz Privacy Policy. The user may request the deletion of their account and data under the conditions provided by this policy.

7. User-created content

Content entered by the user into the application, including notes, journals and personal entries, remains the property of the user. MySynapz claims no ownership rights over this content. The user undertakes not to enter illicit, offensive, defamatory, malicious content, content infringing on the rights of third parties or likely to disrupt the functioning of the application.

8. Intellectual property

All elements of the application, including design, texts, content, graphics, logos, trademarks, structure, interfaces, educational content, technical elements and software, are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, extraction, modification, adaptation or exploitation is prohibited.

9. Availability and evolution

MySynapz strives to keep the application accessible but does not guarantee continuous availability, without interruption or error. The application may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, evolution, security or technical constraints. MySynapz may modify, improve, suspend or interrupt all or part of the application's functionalities at any time, subject to any rights of the user.

10. Limitation of liability

MySynapz cannot be held responsible for decisions made by the user based on the content, assessments, suggestions or responses of the application, nor for indirect or intangible damages related to the use of the application, unless otherwise provided by law.

11. Modification of the application's GTCU

MySynapz may modify these GTCU at any time. In case of substantial modification, the user may be informed by notification, email or display within the application. Continued use of the application after notification implies acceptance of the new GTCU.

12. Applicable law

These GTCU are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the competent courts will be determined in accordance with the applicable rules of common law.
